Great oysters , I hate shucking and have the scars to prove it. Very fresh when I received them in good condition and still cold . I live in Tennessee BTW.

mix tbsp sea salt with 2 cups water in quart jar, chill. pull 1 dozen oysters from jar and put in new jar with the salt water mix. allow to set for at least 6 hours in fridge. drain and serve like fresh. surprisingly good. I put an ice cube in a bowl, add the oysters and some lemon juice. and eat like fresh shucked.

My 91 year old dad had a hankering for oysters from MD, so I helped him order them and fried them up for him the following weekend. Very impressed with the freshness, flavor, and size.

Sharing the raw oysters with my daughter and family was a wonderful experience. In the middle of Indiana, oysters are hard to find for the home consumer. The oysters arrived on time and were mostly consumed that evening. Some raw, some grilled for 5 minutes. What a treat.
