We are an oyster company that produces fresh oysters throughout the year. We ask you for a delivery date when placing your order so we can get you your oysters to you for your event or occasion.
Please note that our product is fresh and under proper temperature control our product remains fresh for the day of your event.
Ground Shipping: Build in at least 1 buffer day for your desired delivery date. For example: If your event is on a Friday, choose Wednesday as a delivery date. In the event there is a shipping issue you have a
buffer day for your delivery on Thursday.

Our oysters will have a 10 day refrigerated shelf life from receipt. Your oysters will arrive with a shell stock tag that will provide the following information:
- Harvester - 3 Hands Oyster Company
- Body of Water
- Date of Harvest

If you would like to speak to a 3 Hands representative, pleasencall us at (804) 220-0112. Please note that we are on the water 5 days a week grading and harvesting oysters, but we will do our best to immediately return your call once we are available.

Order Protection is an add-on insurance that we offer to customersvto provide maximum coverage for perishable shipments. This allows us to promptlyvreact to claims, and to quickly re-ship or refund an order. Read more about Order Protection program here.

If we have not yet shipped your order, you may cancel. If you need to cancel your order prior to the ship date please email support@3handsoystercompany.com

We only ship to continental U.S. Currently we do not ship to California, Hawii or Alaska.

Once your oysters are packaged and shipped you will immediately receive a tracking number via email. You can track you order at anytime by visiting our tracking page.

- Storage: Your shell oysters will arrive on frozen gel packs. Immediately place oysters in the coldest part of your refrigerator. If you are receiving larger quantities of shell oysters, oysters can be placed in a cooler with ice. Never freeze shell oysters.
- Inspection: Always discard any oysters that are open and do not close.
- Expiration: Shell oysters will arrive with a shell stock tag that reveals location of harvest (body of water), harvest date and expiration date.
- Preparation & Consumption: Shell oysters are washed at our 3HOC plant. There is no cleaning necessary. Shell Oysters can be consumed raw or roasted on the grill.

We do not accept returns. We are shipping a perishable product via overnight shipping. What can we do in the event of a late or damaged shipment? We have invested heavily on our end in shipping insurance. We give the option to you the customer to opt-in to this insurance for a very small order fee. What this enables us to provide you with is a very quick resolution path to providing you with a refund or to reship your order. We work with the insurance provider on your claim.
