Oyster Product Care

Storage: Your shell oysters will arrive on frozen gel packs. Immediately place shell oysters in the coldest part of your refrigerator. If you are receiving larger quantities of shell oysters, oysters can be placed in a cooler with ice, but do not submerge oysters water. Never freeze shell oysters.

Inspection: Always discard of any oysters that are open and do not close.

Expiration: Shell oysters will arrive with a shell stock tag that reveals location of harvest (body of water), harvest date and expiration date.

Preparation & Consumption: Shell oysters are washed at our 3 Hands Oyster Farm. There is no cleaning necessary. Shell Oysters can be consumed raw or roasted on the grill.
